After Labor Day all the kids are getting ready to move ahead into a new school year. This was always an exciting time meeting new teachers & starting new courses to further their education. If you have an itch to learn a new craft this September maybe photography is one of them? At Eclipse Photography we are having our Photo 101 course start in a few weeks with just a few spots left. We will be starting another series of 4 week photography sessions on September 22nd. If you have a DSLR camera & you have not taken it out of program mode this course is for you. Landmannalaugar is located in the southern section of Iceland’s highlands. In Iceland to get to the highlands you have to have a 4×4 as the gravel/dirt roads would do major damage to a regular passenger car. The travel to Landmannalaugar was fun if you like bouncing in your 4×4 all the way. Crossing streams in the 4×4 was also my first experience & after about 5 crossings I finally had the confidence that we would not flood our engine.

During my trip to Iceland I encountered lots of rainbows. This rainbow was framed perfectly with the car coming up the highway at the edge of the rainbow.
